Vegetable tanned leather is a natural, chemical free, and environmentally friendly method of tanning leather hides. Full-grain leather hides are soaked in a concentrated bath of tree bark extracts for 60-70 days. Because of its organic nature, vegetable-tanned hides develop a personalized patina in leather with use and age.

Yes, wool is water resistant. Wool repels water droplets and can absorb up to 30% of its weight in water without feeling wet. It’s also highly breathable and antimicrobial, meaning the items inside our wool travel bags will stay fresh and dry.

Monte & Coe ships internationally and offers free shipping on all orders over $75 made within Canada and the United States.
For orders placed in Canada or the United States, please allow 3-6 business days for delivery of your order. For international orders, please note that unexpected delays may occur due to shipping and customs policies.
We offer a 30-day hassle-free exchange and return policy. All items must be shipped within 30 days of purchase. All items must be unused, in original condition and packaging, for a refund to be issued. All refunds and exchanges will be subject to review by a Monte & Coe team member.
Shipments to Canada and the United states will have duties, shipping, and all applicable taxes included at checkout.
For international orders, standard shipping rates will apply.
If you live outside Canada or the United States, you will be responsible for any applicable duty / VAT charges.
